TORCHBOUND
Carry your torch into the Citadel. Carry your loot back out, if you can.

Torchbound is a PvPvE dungeon-crawling extraction game. Drop into the Citadel, a sprawling haunted fortress under a night sky, with your gear on your back and a 25-minute clock ticking. Fight monsters, crack open chests, dig through gold, and take on bosses for the best loot in the dungeon. Every other team is after the same treasure, and anything you’re carrying when you fall is theirs.

Find a portal and escape, and everything you found is yours to keep. Die, and you lose what you brought in.

Choose your class
Seven classes, each with its own skills, perks and weapons:

• Death Knight: heavy plate, cold magic and a grave hook to drag enemies close
• Ranger: bows, crossbows and deadly aim
• Rogue: daggers, stealth and getting out alive
• Mage: frost, fire and lightning from a distance
• Necromancer: dark magic and the dead at your command
• Paladin: holy steel that guards the party
• Bard: songs that turn a fight for your team

Delve the Citadel

• Courts, crypts, halls, vaults and a great shaft into the depths
• Elite monsters and huge bosses, from a chained Gargantuan to a sea-born Leviathan and a book-hoarding Archivist
• Red portals send your team into a harder match for better loot
• Loot from Common to Legendary, plus rare Mythic weapons with special powers, found only in Nightmare
• Play solo, as a duo or as a trio, with your friends or teammates from matchmaking

Pick your stakes

• Common & Uncommon: bring modest gear and fight on even ground
• Rare & Epic: better gear, tougher monsters
• Nightmare: bring anything; monsters hit much harder
• PvE: no player fighting, just you, your team and the dungeon
• Hardcore characters: die once and that character is gone for good
• Solo Self-Found: no trading, no shared stash, only what you earn yourself

The Wilds
Between raids, sail to your own island. No monsters, no dying, just you and your friends:

• Chop trees, mine ore, fish, hunt, forage, smith, craft and cook
• Eight professions to raise all the way to level 99, with a Mastery Cloak for each one you master
• Forge your own armor and weapons from rare materials, then take them into the Citadel or sell them to other players

Between runs

• Trade on the Auction House
• Take quests from the merchants
• Store your loot in your stash
• Dress your hero with cosmetics and prestige capes
• Set your loadout and gather your party in the tavern

Torchbound is in active development. Expect new classes, zones, bosses and items, and your feedback shapes what comes next.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Download and extract the zip (don't run it from inside the zip).

2. Run start_protected_game.exe.

3. Make a character and hit Play.

PARTY UP WITH FRIENDS

1. In Main Lobby, Click Invite Friends at TOP RIGHT

2. Invite Them via STEAM Friends list

3. Game will show as Spacewar
